CTET is conducted by the CBSE to test the basic skills of a teacher. The CTET exam is mandatory for all those who want to become teachers in any CBSE-affiliated schools or any other government school. CTET Papers 1 and 2 are conducted for primary level teachers while CTET Papers 3 and 4 are conducted for upper primary level teachers only. CTET Paper 1 and 2 Study Material
CTET is a national-level examination conducted by the CBSE. It is conducted for the recruitment of teachers in primary, upper primary, and lower secondary schools. The CTET Paper-I and Paper-II are two parts of the test that candidates must clear before they can be considered eligible for employment as teachers in government or private schools at any level.
Candidates who have cleared their written tests will be called for an interview on all four subjects (English, Mathematics, Hindi/Urdu/Classical Sanskrit) along with one elective subject from either history or geography subject area marked as optional subjects by them respectively

Important topics to be covered in the CTET paper 1 exam
Language – English, Hindi, or any other language you have studied. You should be able to read and write simple sentences in English as well as understand spoken English with the proper accent. Also, remember that your knowledge about the rules of grammar will be tested on a vocabulary test (vocabulary).
Question types - multiple choice questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, and general knowledge type questions which are not limited by the time limit (but the maximum time allowed for completing any question is 40 minutes).

The CTET Answer Key and Question Paper 2019 will be available on the official website of AICTE, iimtb.ac.in and www.aicte.org by 22nd February 2020 (Saturday). The exam will be conducted on 26th February 2020 (Monday).
