Introduction
NCHMCT JEE is an all India level entrance exam conducted by National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) for admission to its Bachelor of Science (Honours) Hospitality and Hotel Administration, B.Sc Hospitality & Hotel Administration and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Catering Technology.

The exam was first held in the year 2002 under the aegis of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). It is conducted once every three years in collaboration with IIHR-Bangalore, IISc Hyderabad and other recognized institutions across India. This year it will be held on 28th September 2018 at various centers including NCR Delhi , Thiruvananthapuram , Kolkata Chennai Hyderabad etc

The exam consists of 200 objective type multiple choice questions.
The exam consists of 200 objective type multiple choice questions. Each question has 4 options with 1 correct answer. The time limit for each question is 2 hours and the maximum number of attempts allowed is 100 in a single day.

Exam is held in both English and Hindi language
The NCHMCT JEE Hotel Management Exam is conducted in both English and Hindi languages. Candidates will be allowed to write the exam in either one language or both. If you choose to write your exam in Hindi, then you must submit your application form in that language only. However, if you want to take an option of writing your application form in English or Hindi, then all other instructions given within this website are applicable for either one or two languages respectively.

Candidates who do not know much about reading/writing skills can request an interpreter during their screening process so that they can practice their answers before appearing for the test itself

The test paper comprises of five sections namely – Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Aptitude for Service Sector, Numerical Ability and English Language.

The test consists of two types: one is objective type where you have to choose the correct answer from given options whereas other type is subjective in nature where you have to identify the fact which does not exist in any question or answers given.

You can solve each section in your own way, but there are some key points that you should keep in mind when solving them:

The first option is always correct.

The second option might also be correct, but it's not as good as the first one because it's more difficult and time-consuming to solve than the first one was! So if you choose this option instead of another, then don't worry about anything else except for how much time it took for you to do so (you won't get any marks for answering these questions).

With the exception of GK & Current affairs section, there will be negative marking for every wrong answer given. Marking scheme is 0.25 marks per question will be deducted for every incorrect response given.

The minimum qualification for the candidates is to have studied in English medium, and must be a citizen of India. They should also be between 17 and 23 years of age, and have completed their graduation from a recognized board.

NCHMCT JEE will be the most important exam for students who are planning to take admission in any of the management colleges in India. Students can apply for this exam after completing their 12th standard and they have to appear in it on or before May/June of their 18th year.
