The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is the governing body of all government institutions and services in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It was established on 8th November 1947 by Indian National Congress leader Jawaharlal Nehru, who was then the Prime Minister of India. The commission has power to appoint officers to various posts like directorates general, secretaries etc., as well as making recommendations on salary scales and allowances for these officers among other things. Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is a statutory body of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It was created in the year 1948 by the Madhya Pradesh Act No. XVII of 1948.

It is a constitutional body and recruiting agency for all civil services in Madhya Pradesh, including five largest services - police service, agriculture service, education service, irrigation & flood control department and forest & wildlife management department. The commission also looks after recruitment to other state services like school teachers' recruitment board (SBTC), DCDA etc., as well as boards set up by the government or by local bodies or other agencies with similar functions such as Municipal Corporation Board (MCB), District Board etc., depending on their nature and function within their areas of operation.

MPPSC Eligibility Criteria for Main Exam

The MPPSC exams are conducted for the posts of Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer and Technician in various departments. The candidates have to register themselves through online mode only.

The candidates should have passed 12th class with minimum 50% marks on aggregate basis from any recognized board or University in India or abroad (including universities established by an Indian State). For those who have studied science stream only, they can also apply if they fulfill the requirements mentioned above except age limit and qualification etc., but need not submit original certificates from their respective schools/universities directly to MPPSCs.[1][2][3]

The application forms for Main Examination shall be downloaded from official website https://mppsc.govt.in/. Fill in all details required therein including date of birth, address etc., pay Rs 500/- as application fee by any authorized bank debit account (creditor) along with demand draft drawn in favour of "Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission" payable at Bhopal city centre branch against this amount[4].

How to Apply for MPPSC Exams?

Download the application form from their website and fill it in detail with all your personal details like address, mobile number etc., which will be verified by them before sending your application form to them.

Pay a fee of Rs 200/- as an application fee for each examination category you wish to apply for (i.e., JE/PWO/BEd/MT).

Submit all relevant documents along with your payment receipt within two weeks' time after submitting the payment slip online; otherwise they will not consider your application anymore!

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts the Madhya Pradesh PSC Mains Exams every year. The Mains Exam is conducted in three stages, each of which is a computer-based test and contains 50 questions. Each question carries four marks out of five possible marks; however, an incorrect answer will be awarded only one mark. The duration of these exams varies between one day to three days depending on their difficulty level (easy or hard).

Indian Constitution: This topic covers basic knowledge about Indian Constitution as well as its relevance today in our lives through various questions related to this topic i.e., how did people get freedom from British rule? What were some major events that took place during independence movement? How many revolutions have taken place in India since 1947 until now? What were some key dates associated with our country's freedom struggle? How many languages do we speak today including regional dialects spoken by different communities living within our country's boundaries."
