Maharashtra PSC Exams

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is the governing body for recruitment in the state of Maharashtra. It conducts examinations for various posts such as clerk and peon, junior engineer, assistant commissioner and many more. There are two main exams conducted by the MPSC - Administrative Officer Preliminary Exam (APEX) and Administrative Officer Mains Exam(AME). These exams are held twice a year in different cities across Maharashtra

MAHARASHTRA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is a state government body responsible for the recruitment of government servants and other employees in the state. It is the sole recruitment agency for government jobs in Maharashtra.

The MPSC conducts examinations for various posts such as constable, assistant professor, teacher and many others every year. All candidates who wish to take up these posts must appear before this body before applying online or offline.

Administrative officer prelims exam

The exam is a computer-based test and is conducted in English. It has three sections:

General Studies (30 marks)

Vocabulary and Grammar (30 marks)

Reasoning Ability (20 marks)

Administrative officer mains exam

The Administrative Officer Mains Exam is conducted by Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). This exam is held every year in the month of February and it aims at selecting candidates for various posts like Assistant Engineer, Assistant Sub Inspector and many more.

The candidates who want to appear for this exam must have completed graduation or its equivalent from any recognized university or institutes with two years experience in any field related to administrative work such as finance, accounts etc.

Assistant preliminary examination

The Assistant preliminary examination is held in the month of February. The examination is conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). There are two types of examinations:

The written test consists of objective type questions and personal interview. This form will be conducted at various centres across Maharashtra, where candidates have to appear for a day-long test on different dates between February and March depending on their rank/class number.

Personal interview is usually held near your place but some times it happens at MPSC office along with written test at certain places like Thane or Mumbai etc.,

Assistant main examination

The MAHARASHTRA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION conducts the Assistant Main Examination. It is held in February, March, April and May. The examination is conducted at different centres across Maharashtra.

Deputy collector prelims exam

The PSC Prelims Exam is a paper-based exam which will be held on 3rd December 2019. It has been designed to test the candidates' knowledge of Maharashtra PSC related topics, including those related to civil service rules and procedures, government policies and schemes etc. Candidates who have clear idea about the Maharashtra PSC Prelims Exam can prepare themselves by following some easy steps below:

Practice mock tests and solve them in the right way at least 10 times before appearing for prelims exam.

Deputy collector mains exam

The Deputy Collector Mains exam is conducted in the month of February. The exam is held at the office of the deputy collector and it lasts for 2 hours. The candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in written examination and viva voce (interview).

The MAHARASHTRA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION conducts MAHARASHTRA PSC exams every year. They are held in two stages, one for the administrative officer prelims and other for the main exam.
