Introduction

CMAT stands for All India Counsel for Medical Admission Test. It is an entrance exam conducted by the AICTE, which is a statutory body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The council was formed in 1980s to provide leadership to technical education and promote excellence in higher education in India.
