The Common Admission Test, also known as CAT, is an entrance exam for admission into various management institutes in India. The test consists of three sections: Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Logical Reasoning (LR). The CAT (Common Admission Test) is a test for admission to Indian institutes of higher education. It consists of two papers, namely the quantitative and verbal section.

The total duration of the CAT is 3 hours and 45 minutes, including the time allotted for writing your answer sheets. There are five sections in each paper: Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI&LR), Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Sufficiency & Data Sufficiency II (DSDII), Quantitative Aptitude (QA). Each section has a different format:

Verbal Ability: This section has 20 objective type questions with 4 marks each; you must answer all questions correctly to get full marks in this section

DI&LR: This section contains 15 objective type questions with 2 marks each; you must find correct answers out of four options given in this part or express your own opinion using reasons
