Sri Aurobindo College Evening, New Delhi was established in the year 1984. The institute is also known as SACE New Delhi. SACE New Delhi is named after the philosopher, poet, nationalist and freedom fighter, Aurobindo Ghose. Earlier the college used to offer admissions only to male candidates later on from the year 1988, it admitted female candidates as well. Sri Aurobindo College Evening, New Delhi offers B. Com, B. Com (Hons.), B.A (Programme), B. A. (Hons.) Hindi and B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology to the students.

Career Guidance Cell: The mentors of this Cell help to resolve and avoid potential problems of the students. They encourage the students as well as guide them to achieve their goals and guide them throughout for grabbing the best opportunities.

Commerce Society: This is a departmental club of the Department of Commerce that conducts various events, programmes and competitions for the students.

Debating Society: The English Debating Club offers opportunities for students to logically explain their points of view and focus on one side of the argument and helps the students in enhancing the oratory skills.

Music Society: The Music Society of the college organises various musical events and programmes for the students and it provides a platform to the students to showcase their musical talent in Indian Music.

Political Science Society: This is a department society of Political Science Department that organises various activities and events for the students.

BA Prog Society, Utkarsh: Utkarsh is a departmental society of the BA Programme students that conducts events and activities for the BA Programme students and encourages them to participate in them.
