Introduction

The following steps need to be followed to change your name in a ration card in Gujarat:

Visit the Gujarat Food and Civil Supplies Department Portal

Click on “Apply Online”

Select the option of new AAY application and click on Apply Now

Select your category of application and submit it by clicking on “Apply Now” button at the bottom of your screen.

After you have successfully logged in, you will be taken to the application form. All fields are mandatory and must be filled in order for the application to be submitted. The first step is to enter your personal details such as your name (last name first), address and contact number under “Personal Details” column. Then, move on to “Education Details” section where you will need to enter your educational qualifications and other credentials one by one.

To apply for a new ration card, click on ‘New Application’ under your current ration card details and fill out relevant information like your full name, address and contact number etc., then click on submit button at bottom of screen after filling out all required fields correctly

. After submission, you will be redirected to another page where you can see your application status and it might take some time for the authorities to process your request.

4. In case you already have a user ID and password, then it’s easy for you to login to your account by entering the login details. If not, then you will have to create your account by clicking on the register yourself link at the bottom of the page.

Once logged in, enter your name, date of birth and gender as per government rules. Once done with these basic steps, select “Select Bank” from where all banks are listed under which bank do want to apply for bank accounts? Then select that particular bank which has been chosen by you as per requirement etc., depending upon which category one falls under (i) Indian nationals or (ii) Overseas Indians

7. Click on the “Edit Profile” option available on the left side of your computer screen as shown in image below and make necessary changes like name change in ration card etc.

The next step is to confirm your changes by clicking on 'Submit' button at last, this will take you back to editing page which will show all your changes made after successful submission of them (if any).
